Post Tags are incredibly useful for analyzing social content in your landscape. Perhaps you're looking to compare campaigns, visual stylings, topics, or more.

But what happens when you want to analyze combinations of those things?

Filtering and analyzing multiple tags

With advanced filters for post tags, you can filter and analyze posts that have your selected set of tags.

For example, consider content with the set of tags below. There are 41 posts about peanut snacks and 23 giveaway posts.

How many posts are giveaway posts about peanuts?

By opening the advanced filters and switching the filter logic from "OR" to "AND", we're narrowing down to only the posts that have "giveaway" and "peanut" tags.

Excluding posts using the Include/Exclude option

Often, you'll encounter a situation where you want to exclude posts that have a certain tag or tags from your analysis.

For example, continuing our example from the previous section, imagine wanting to analyze the average post's performance, excluding the posts tagged "giveaway".

Again, by opening the advanced filters and switching the filter logic from "Include" to "Exclude", we're narrowing down to only the posts that do NOT have "giveaway".
