As of Dec. 13, 2021, YouTube will no longer provide Dislikes as a public metric. YouTube users will still be able to Dislike a video and channel owners will still be able to view the Dislikes in their private metrics, but you will no longer be able to review Dislikes for your competitors.

We will keep the Dislike metric until Jan. 31, 2022. After Jan. 31, the Dislike metric will be completely removed from our tool.

When we remove Dislikes on Jan. 31, 2022, you may notice your 2021 engagement metrics decrease. Currently, Total Engagement includes Likes, Dislikes, and Comments, but when YouTube stops reporting Dislikes and we remove all historical Dislikes, the new Engagement metrics will include only Likes and Comments.

Please ensure you've downloaded any YouTube data needed related to Dislikes, Engagement Total, Engagement Rate, and Engagement Rate Lift prior to Jan. 31, 2022.
