As of July 30, 2024 Twitter/X has placed certain limitations to their API that affect the date range for the private metrics you see in Rival IQ.

This update means that Twitter Private Data only updates posts up to 5 days after the post was originally published.

For example, a Tweet published on August 1, 2024 would only update their total engagements up until August 6, 2024. Any engagements made after August 6th would not be gathered in our private metrics.

However ,Twitter Pubic Data will continue to collect this data when the tool updates your account data.

Therefore, to ensure you are receiving accurate data, we recommend utilizing Twitter Public data when retroactively looking at data.
