Instagram removed some of the functionality of their Hashtag Search API.
Here’s what they’ve removed and how it affects our Instagram Discover tools:
The handle of the post publisher. Without this data, we cannot display our influencer analysis.
@ symbols within posts. Without this data, we cannot display our mentions analysis.
The publishing time of the post. We are now unable to display or sort by post publishing times.
Recent posts beyond a 24 hour period.With this new limitation, all hashtag searches will return only very recent posts.

Instagram has provided a new endpoint, searching top posts using a hashtag. This will return posts considered popular by Instagram.
