Inviting Team Members To Your Account

Every person on your team can have their own account with personal preferences on alerts and scheduled exports.

You can invite team members to your Rival IQ account, which grants them a login so that they can:

  • Collaborate on all of the shared landscapes on the account.

  • Connect social accounts that they have access to, such as Facebook and LinkedIn pages. This imports data into your Rival IQ account, so that all team members can analyze the data even if they don't have direct access to the social accounts.

  • Subscribe to reports from a subset of landscapes or customize alerts in their inbox.

There are two types of team roles on an account:

  • Owner: One team member in your account has full administrative access. The owner can make any changes to the account, including payment changes.

  • Full: One or more team members in an account can make changes like adding companies and landscapes, but not update the account plan.

Adding Team Members

To invite team members:ย 

1. Click Account at the bottom left of the screen and select Team or go to Team.

2. Click Invite User.ย 

3. Enter the team member's email address, optionally edit the message, and click Invite.

The invited team member will receive an invitation in their email to confirm their Rival IQ account and set a password.

Updating a Team Member

After you add a team member, you can click Actions to update their email address, set their password, or (for owners only) remove them from the account.
